This traineeship is an initiative of the Africa Health Law Program hosted under the Soklaw’s Department of Consultancy and Regulatory Compliance. The program is founded and directed by Dr. Faith Simiyu. The Africa Health Law Program at SOKLAW bridges public interest litigation, academic research, and policy advocacy, positioning Africa not merely as a recipient of global health governance but as a generator of health law jurisprudence. Through the traineeship, it provides structured practical training in: (i) litigation generally with specific focus public interest litigation, (ii) conveyancing as well as (iii) health & medical law while grounding trainees in core areas of Kenyan legal practice. The program is a hybrid-model involving both a physical and online aspect as detailed herein.
